Keep track of activities in a single place: enter and format notes from any meeting, tying all activities to companies and contacts.
Overview
Activities are communications you have with Contacts at Companies. This may include in-person meetings, calls, emails, text messages or any other form of communication, whether or not you actually get a response.
In Galaxy you can keep track of Activities for Contacts or for Companies. If you add an Activity for a Contact the Activity will automatically be associated with that Contact’s Company. Alternatively, you can associate a Contact or multiple Contacts with a Company when you add an Activity to a Company.
Add a Company Activity
To add Activities to a Company, select the Company from the Companies page and navigate to the Activities tab. Type or paste the Activity notes into the rich text input box near the top of the page. Use the calendar to select the date of the Activity (it will default to ‘today’), choose an activity type (optional) and choose a Contact (optional) or multiple Contacts (optional). If you can’t find the Contact, it may not exist yet. Click ‘Create Contact’ to add a New Contact. You will be returned to the Activities tab for the Company where you can click ‘save’ to add the Activity to the list of records on the page.
Activities will be listed in reverse chronological order. Click on the trash can to delete an activity and it will be permanently removed from the list.

To add Activities to a Contact, select the Contact from the Contacts page and navigate to the Activities tab. Type or paste the Activity notes into the rich text input box near the top of the page.
